Spooky Halloween Preparation OOTD

I don’t do these often but when I do, I like to show everything and do them in a fun way so sometimes you’ll see ootd photos or videos like today. I wanted to do this video to show my spooky sexy outfit for getting my first batch of 2019 Halloween decorations at Michael’s, my home away from home. Here’s my video of my Outfit of the Day.

Bettie Page Collaboration with Peggy Stone, Part 2

IMG_9888

Here it is finally, my double BETTIE PAGE COLLABORATION WITH MY PINUP SISTER PEGGY STONE! I’m so glad we got to do these shoots as our first collab together. I know her and I will be doing more soon. We definitely both have the classic Bettie Page essence and aura within us. I love how even though we have different hair colors and different outfits in our photos, they all go together beautifully.

Her photos were taken by Richard Kitchen whose Instagram handle is @rwk_photography. Mine were taken by Nima/Nick Sorat whose Twitter handle is @inqtanq and Nima Sorat on Facebook. Enjoy our double beautiful and fabulous photoshoot.

Weekend Fashion and Style

I went to go see the movie, “The Nun” yesterday, which by the way was good and very scary, and my husband and I both loved what I wore yesterday on our movie date and took some photos of my look. I was in a very artsy and bohemian mood, and enjoyed wearing my sexy leather shorts with a simple black tank top and my velvet floral kimono shawl. I paired it with my cute floppy hat and tortoise shell sunglasses. I finished my look off with my Valentino black and gold studded heels, my quilted classic Chanel Purse, some cute bangles, my gold pearl drop earrings from my friend Kirsty and my Edgar Allan Poe necklace made by my other friend Luna.

I love the mix of the color and black and white photos my man took and I felt like I was sitting in one of my favorite cafes in San Francisco. I really enjoyed this fun outfit of mine as well as my really fun day.

10 Looks For Summer: Outfit Ten: “Party Dress Time!”

Here is my last outfit to celebrate summer. I chose to show off one of my vintage party dresses to celebrate the end of summer and the beginning of my favorite season, Autumn. I love the bird pattern and decided to wear a crinoline with this dress. Crinolines are petticoats that you wear underneath to give your dresses more volume and add an extra layer of color to your outfit. I chose a red crinoline for this pretty vintage look. As for my hair, I believe you can never wear enough flowers in your hair. Even if you’re wearing a casual outfit, layering flowers in your hair can make your look more fun and polished. To finish off my vintage party dress, I donned my heart-shaped sunglasses and my super high Wizard of Oz inspired sparkly ruby red heels

I really enjoyed posting my ten inspiring looks of summer but now that summer is almost over, I’m absolutely ecstatic about Autumn, MY FAVORITE TIME OF THE YEAR, and for everything that goes along with it.

10 Looks For Summer: Outfit Eight: “Vintage Rock and Roll Music Tops”

Ok you all know that I LOVE MUSIC, especially Rock and Roll and collect concert tees, vintage concert tees from my favorite bands, and even new modern music tees that you can just buy in regular stores. If you’ve been following my site here for a while, you might remember a DIY post I wrote a few years ago titled, “Getting Creative with Concert T-Shirts,” where I show you had to transform your concert tees into different rent looks by cutting them, tying them, taking extra large shirts and turning them into dresses, and more. Here’s the link below in case you haven’t seen it.

In this summer inspired look, I took one of my music shirts and instead of pairing it with a pair of jeans or shorts, I dressed it up a bit to show that you can dress up and casual top, especially if it’s a rock and roll/music top. Here I show my favorite Beatles top and paired it with a classic blazer since the weather is starting to finally get a little cooler, slowly but I’ll take it. I paired my cool “The Beatles” top, which is my all time favorite band by the way, with my silver silk pants. I love these pants because you can wear them long or pull them up a little bit so they have a more Capri silhouette In these photos I pulled them up to show of my gold spiked ankle boots with my seven inch gold heels. I love these and who says you can’t pair gold and silver together? I topped my look with my black sequined scarf around my neck that my husband bought me on our very first vacation we took together to New York after dating a year.

10 Looks for Summer: Outfit Four “All Eyes on You.”

Today it was 104 degrees were I was today. I was in the San Fernando Valley to have a doctor’s appointment with my mom as well as my mom which was nice since we got together.

I knew it was going to scorching hot today so I donned my spaghetti strap “Batty Eye” dress from Sourpuss Clothing. I wore my studded stilettos again and wore my crystals in my right hand with with iridescent beetle earrings, emeral jewelry. I also rocked my pink and green jeweled cat eyed sunglasses again and I still love them. The finishing touch were my “Victory Roll Swirl hairdo with my lily spider flower clip.

This outfit was perfect for this horrible heat today as well as a cute dinner outfit at my favorite Italian restaurant, “Buen Gusto.” I went with my mom who is my bff besides my husband. Winks, and we had a very nice time. It was fun taking pictures in there and having some Procesco to go with the sign above when I’m sitting down.

10 Looks for Summer: Number Three, Girlie Girl in Jeans and a Tank Top

A tank top and jeans is always a cute go to, especially during the summer time but I like to add a little extra flare to this look. I rolled and cuffed up my jeans like any good rockabilly gal and wanted to be pretty in pink in my cute barbie pink heart Trixie Mattel tank top. If your tank is a little big, pair it with a pretty lacy bra or thin camisole (that will still keep you cool) to give a little sexy but tasteful edge. It also dresses up the outfit a bit more as well do some big high heels or stilettos. I sported my new pair of HUGE flamingo pink and green- jeweled cat-eyed sunglasses. I love them and they are so fun as well as protect my peepers from the sun.

To give your look more glamour, wear some beautiful jewelry with it. Here I wore a beautiful shell heart bracelet to go with my hearts on my top and my finishing touch were some beautiful pearl drop, vintage-inspired chandelier earrings that I just got as a gift from my girl Kirsty Giuliani that she made. Thank you girlie, I am I love with them!

Behind the Scenes Teaser

Normally I never really show behind the scene pictures on here unless I really enjoyed the shoot. This last shoot I did I really enjoyed. It was a photographer named Hamayak Hakopian or “Hami” that I had shot with a lot in the past but hadn’t seen in a few years. We always kept in contact but with our schedules, it was hard to book a shoot. Finally a few weeks ago we did. We shot at Lumino Studios, where I did my pinup Valentine’s shoot, and our shoot took place in the Emerald Room of the studio house, perfect for me since that’s my birthstone.

I had such a nice time with him. He brought in an EXTREMELY TALENTED Hair Stylist who brought my curls to life named Elisa Lara who was such a darling. I donned a new emerald green corset, appropriate for where I was shooting, my swarovski crytal fishnet stockings and my 7 and a half tall dance stiletto booties with matching crystals. I felt absolutely beautiful in my burlesque wear.

Hami is such a sweet and very professional photographer and I enjoy our work relationship a lot. I’m so excited to see the actual shots from this shoot. In the meantime, I decided to give you all a little tease. Elisa took some behind the scene shots of me while I was getting photographed and I loved the look of them so much that I decided to post them here to get you all ready for the actual photoshoot images. Enjoy!
